TOUGH ON CRIME
As a 35+ year federal prosecutor, Kenneth Cusick has sent some of the most dangerous criminals to prison. Over the past 9 years, he has focused on prosecuting gang members in the Houston-Galveston area and members of International drug cartels who have been poisoning our communities with deadly drugs and violence. There’s a reason why Governor Greg Abbott appointed Cusick as the new Galveston County District Attorney - and that’s to clean up our cities and put the violent and dangerous criminals behind bars where they belong.
FIGHT THE WOKE LIBERAL AGENDA
Kenneth Cusick will stop the dangerous woke liberal agenda from infiltrating down into Galveston County. From the dangerous catch-and-release policies in Harris County letting murderers out of jail to the cashless bail system rotating repeat offenders in and out of our jail, that won’t happen under Kenneth Cusick’s watch. By working with local law enforcement, Cusick will strengthen the District Attorney's Office with taking the fight to the criminals and holding them accountable when they break the law. Individuals who break the law will have no safe harbor in Galveston County under District Attorney Cusick’s leadership.
FIGHT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
District Attorney Kenneth Cusick fully supports President Trump’s initiative in partnering with local law enforcement agencies to join the federal effort to get violent and criminal illegal immigrants out of our communities and sent back to their home country. His office will support Galveston County law enforcement in investigating and finding these criminals and get them off our streets.
SERVING JUSTICE
As the top lawman in Galveston County, Kenneth Cusick will advocate not only for justice to the communities of Galveston County for crimes committed there, but for the rights of the victims impacted by these crimes. He will fight to see that victims and their families have their day in court through input into the prosecution actions of his office to hold the responsible criminals accountable. District Attorney Cusick will ensure victims and their families’ voices are heard by aggressively pursuing justice to the fullest extent of the law.
